14.04 International Moment of Laughter Day

“International Moment of Laughter Day”

What happened on that day? What were you doing?

We were served funny-face breakfasts with sausage and eggs. We had a strange laughter ritual around the smokehouse in front of Kunstnernes Hus. I made funny food together with Montse and Bobby: a melon-frog filled with fruit salad, and fruit hedgehogs and espiropapas, and a disgusting-looking jelly dessert that no one ate.

If you could take away one thing from The Great Indoors, what would it be? It could be an object, healing, action, moment, or experience, etc.

I think it would be having a place that felt home-like where I could come and go as I needed, and it always felt o pen and welcoming. No one was really demanding anything from each other beyond showing up and participating as much as you wanted to - which everyone did - and it was all based on desire, inspiration and whatever you felt you were in need of and capable of giving on that day.

During the stay at the Kunstnernes Hus, which day of the ceremony impressed you the most?

I loved the moment of laughter day.

What happened on that day? What were you doing?

We stood in a circle outside of Kunstnernes Hus - laughing in different tones and running around Øyvind's smoke house. It really felt like a healing moment.

If you could take away one thing from The Great Indoors, what would it be? It could be an object, healing, action, moment, or experience, etc.

I would bring with me the Tea Ceremony tent and the mystical, relaxed and funny tasting of the teas together.
